Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no wallet connection, and we do not store the addresses you look up.

What is processed

  • The address you check. The site sends it to our server inside the request body, never in a web address, so it does not land in hosting logs or caches. Our server uses it to read public data from the Base chain and then forgets it. It is not written to a database or to our logs.
  • Page links. A wallet link looks like /wallet#address=0x…. Browsers never send the part after # to any server, so the link can be bookmarked and shared without telling us or our host.
  • Chain reads. Our server asks public Base RPC providers for the numbers. They see our server, not you.
  • Your IP address. Used for about one minute to limit each visitor to 60 requests a minute. It is not stored.
  • Hosting logs. Our host (Vercel) may keep standard request logs for security and abuse prevention, under Vercel's own policies. Wallet addresses are not part of those requests.

Connecting a wallet

  • Connecting only shares your public address with this page. We never ask for a signature, an approval or a transaction.
  • Browser wallets (Rabby, MetaMask, Coinbase extension) talk to the page directly on your device.
  • Phone wallets connected by QR code use the WalletConnect network run by Reown. That link is end to end encrypted; Reown's relay sees that a connection exists and your IP, not its contents. WalletConnect analytics are switched off.
  • The site does not look up your balance or anything else from your browser. All reads go through our server.

In your browser

The last few addresses you checked are saved in your browser's local storage so you can pick them again. They never leave your device. Use "Forget" or "Forget all" on the wallet page to remove them at any time.

Keys and signatures

We never ask for a private key, seed phrase or signature, and never will. Anyone who does is not us. Paste your public address only.

Analytics

If analytics is turned on, it is privacy friendly aggregate analytics (Plausible): no cookies and no personal data.
